Well, hello kindly stranger stumbling your way into my glorious web of silvery … make believe … stuff!

WELCOME!

If you are reading this, then I have been taken captive. My current location is quite possibly my office, but there is no telling where these dastardly characters will take me next. If you are on your way to save me, please bring chocolate … and a hairbrush. I also will not say no to an ice cap, maybe a book, or two. I’m not picky.

Okay, let’s get serious for a minute. No, I’m not asking for a promise ring. No, I wouldn’t say no to a promise ring if you have one just lying around.

So I’m Airicka Phoenix, giver of books, watcher of Netflix and all around ball of hair and strange. On my spare time, I also bake cookies.

Now, whenever I’m asked to do a blog post, or introduce myself, I have this graphic image of myself clad in a Dracula outfit (yes, with fangs) peering down at a crowd of unsuspecting victims and saying something profound, like…. Good evening, my children of the night! There would be organ music in the background, lightning crashing across a stormy sky and my children (the real ones), running through the room with little pitchforks.

Instead, for most of the night, this is me…

Because let’s face it, I’m awkward. That’s why I became an author, to avoid having to pretend it’s Halloween every day. Something tells me that Dracula cape can get pretty heavy after a while. I also became an author because I love books. I love reading them. I love listening to them (audio. I’m not that crazy). I love smelling them and stroking them and yelling at them. But these are all normal things all readers go through, right?

But around this time is where I tell you a little about me, like how I really hate mermaids, have a deep love for skulls and will eat lemons like apples. And those are my more reasonably normal weirdness. Instead, I will talk to you about my books, because aside from reading them, I write them.

I write Paranormal. I write Contemporary. I write thrillers. I write dirty things, funny things, spooky things. But the thing they all have in common? I write romance. I write hot, smoldering, sweet, heart stopping, heart lifting, panty dropping romance. All of this comes in two different flavors, YA for those who like the fade to black and NA for those who like it all in the light. You can find a more thorough listing HERE.

You can, if you feel so inclined, follow me on just about all social medias or join my Newsletter where you can win early copies of my books, swag, play games and so much more.

Love has no expiration.

The morning Beth packed her bags and walked out of Cole’s life was the day he swore the only girl for him would be the six year old who called him daddy. He didn’t have time for love, not between raising his baby girl and trying to figure out what the hell he was going to do with his life. But fate has a funny way of coming around and kicking you when you least expect it. Cole’s new life was no exception.

As a product of a severely broken home, Beth Doan knew better than to ever get married. She’d seen what that commitment did to people and she loved Cole McClain too much to let marriage destroy them. But the minute she boards that bus she knew she was making the biggest mistake of her life. Only maybe she wasn’t, not when she goes running back home to the only man she ever loved and finds him in the arms of another woman.

When an unexpected accident throws them together four years later, the last thing either anticipated was to become responsible for a little person who needs them a whole lot more than they need their bitterness and hurt feelings. Can Cole and Beth forgive and forget long enough to save the life of a child neither one of them predicted falling in love with?

Or are some wounds just too deep to heal?

His love will become her curse.

For centuries, Gideon has kept his secret, knowing that it could mean the life of the woman whose very heartbeat was his reason for living. But when Veil Creatures are slaughtered in their homes by those sworn to protect them, it may be up to him to save those he loves from a fate worse than death. What he doesn’t expect is the betrayal and a choice that could leave his family devastated.

Valkyrie Devereaux believes only in the power of justice, loyalty and obeying the laws of her people. Love was something to be feared and she had been taught long ago that anything that could make you weak, needed to be eliminated. But when she is assigned to join the Casters of the north in hunting the creatures slaughtering the innocent, even she can’t help the twang of longing for something that goes against everything she was raised to believe was wrong.

Fire and gasoline, passions collide. Heat erupts as they fight against their desires and their very nature. But a fire like theirs can never be smothered. It can never be stopped. It can only burn to unimaginable heights, but what happens when it careens out of control and destroys everything around them? And who is waiting for that exact moment to destroy the brothers?

She will become his death.
