Why wait to read my post? Listen to it now!

Before I get into all the fun you can have tonight, I want to just say there isn’t a more stressful day than Valentine’s Day, in my opinion. Lovers young and old rush to the mall in search of the perfect gift, the one that says everything they can’t put into words, because men know, that without the perfect gift, it’s either going to be a lucky night for him, or the doghouse.

But let’s face it ladies, we are not an easy group to buy for. No, not even you, the reader in the back mumbling about being really easy to please. I know, because I’m that person. Get me a box of chocolates and a gift cards to and I’m your girl. But we all know secretly, deep down in our romantic hearts, the one pumping with all the hot alpha book boys we devour daily, that we want more. Not necessarily things, but commitment, passion, creativity. We want to feel our hearts melt in our chest and our knees weaken. We want to be so surprised, we gasp, maybe even squee.

Romance without the stress? Yes, please!

You know what I’m talking about. We are romance addicts. We’ve been spoiled by the hot and dirty things authors whisper into our ears when we flip open a book. So damn straight we want it. We want all of it.

But how do we get it?

The most popular posts I’ve visited all tell me to take my partner for a walk, to enjoy a candlelit dinner, maybe a movie. Fire, food, and movies are three of my favorite things, but I can’t help feeling it’s so overdone. That’s first date tips. What if you’ve been in a long term relationship where you’re so comfortable with your partner that valentines (or any romantic venture) gets lost in the hassles of life? What if you just don’t have the money to hit a movie or a fancy dinner, not to mention a babysitter if one is needed?

Well, ladies, I’ve done some researching and here’s a few ideas I’ve come up with.

Stay tuned till the end to hear what my ideal date night is.

Oh, and I promised to tell you my ideal date night. I love driving. I love just getting into the car and going. Doesn’t matter where. Just drive with the radio on and miles of potential ahead. Drive until we wind up somewhere else. Then parking, reclining the seats and talking until the sun rises.

But there we have it. That’s our show. Be sure to enter the Fifty Shades of Valentine’s Day Loop *GIVEAWAY*, on my Facebook page, and May the cupids find you and may your night be blessed with all the fairy lights and chocolate you can handle.

This is Airicka Phoenix wishing you a Happy Valentine’s Day!❤
