How’s your week been? I’ve had a crazy busy few days. Aside from my day jobs, I’ve been writing again and trying to remember all the fun marketing steps. It’s been a challenge. There’s so much to do.

If you have a cloning machine, could I borrow it? I definitely need a second, or third me. 🤣

Aside from all that, out of nowhere, IG closed my account. 😶 Literally out of the blue. I contacted them, did what they asked trying to clarify myself. Heard nothing back.

Honestly, I feels a little let down. I’d spent years building my following and collecting all my photos (which, by the way, some of which I don’t have anymore…). To lose that for no reason followed by radio silence from IG … yeah, it was definitely upsetting. But it also taught me a couple of things

Lesson time!

• Never put all your followers on the same platform. This is is why. You could get booted for absolutely no reason, or the platform could go down and where will you be? Branch out. A lot of people don’t even have IG or FB. So make sure you find your people in different places.
• Back up your pictures. I thought mine were safe on IG because I never expected this to happen, and here we are. So, if you share a picture you really love, save a copy on your drive.

There you have it. The two reasons you should always think ahead.

I considered for a while to just let it go. It was one less platform to deal with and if that could happen so easily, without warning or without a way to fix it, did I want to go back?

Yes. Yes, I did.

Because I have met so many amazing people through that app. I enjoyed sharing my day to day with you guys. Besides, I’m a strong believer of everything happening for a reason. However small. Maybe because I am starting fresh and returning to a completely different publishing world than the one I left, I’m supposed to start over. Maybe I need to re-find my people to truly appreciate what I’m doing – Writing again.

But whatever the message, I opened a new account and I would be so appreciative and grateful if you would join me. I share loads of behind the scene photos, book graphics and random pics of me doing random things. 🤣 All good times.

I’m excited for the final installment, but also terribly sad. I feel like this series has been part of my life in some shape or form for so long that letting go is like saying goodbye to a really good friend.
