Cold Meds & Concentration

I think it’s safe to say that the two do not go together, especially when you’re on a deadline to complete 50,000 words in 30 days. But regardless of my groggy state and bulb-like nose, I have managed to mysteriously hammer out 8,000 words. 8387 words to be exact. Not too shabby if I do say so myself. Granted, I’m sure everyone else is probably a little ahead of me, but it’s not a race so I’m not going to fret over it.
(My NaNoWriMo Can Be Found Here)

My only concern: I hope to God it’s coherent…

I can just imagine the judge’s face when he/she looks over my story, thinking: was this person on drugs when writing this?

Yes, yes, she was! NyQuil and tea to be exact, lots and lots of tea.

In other, less feverish news, I have none, So I will discreetly exit left, but not before posting a word counter that I was so happy to find on Elana Johnson’s blog. NaNoWriMo has unfortunately not yet posted their widgets so I will make due with this one until they do. YAY.

Oh, and P/S, I have become a little obsessed with the TV show, Castle. Nathan Fillion…*rawr* That is all!

  1. Love the widget and the news. You are not the only a bit concerned over the reaction of the nanowrimo people. I wonder about coherency and have no where near your reasons ( lack of cough meds and all.) I am sure your story will be brilliant as always. xoxoKel
